Fine-tuning your PRD

After PRD-AI processes your prompt, the initial PRD for your app opens in the Planning page, where you fine-tune your PRD to fit your exact requirements.

This section guides you through the steps you can take to get your PRD exactly as you want it. We also provide some tips, tricks, and best practices for this process.

To fine-tune your PRD, use the Planning page. Refer to the Planning page overview for more details about the various page elements as well as the Planning page tabs.

At any time, you can use the following options in the (More) menu:

• Start Over — If you want to erase everything and begin again, select Start Over from the (More) menu.

  Caution

  This removes everything on the Planning page and brings you back to the Create PRD with AI window, using the same app name (and icon, if provided).
  This cannot be undone.

• Download the PRD — At any time, you can download PRD in various formats. For more information, refer to PRD Download information.

Work with your PRD however you want!

There is no set order for fine-tuning your PRD. You can move around and edit any section in any order.

We do recommend that you refine your phases, categories, and the features before moving on to advanced functionality to minimize rework later on. However, when using the advanced functionality, you can always continue to refine the phases, categories, and features to get the exact result you want.
