Doc-to-PRD

Upload an existing technical document, schematic, or requirements file, and PRD-AI transforms it into a structured PRD. This option is ideal for leveraging existing documentation to quickly generate a comprehensive PRD while retaining flexibility to refine it as needed.

Generating a PRD from a Document

1. On the Creating a PRD page, click Create PRD from Document.        
   The Document Upload screen opens.

2. Upload your technical document:

   • Accepted formats: PDF

   • Max file size: 5MB

3. Provide a description of the document and how you want to use it in the PRD generation process. You can click View Examples to see sample descriptions for reference.

4. Click Generate PRD. PRD-AI will analyze the document and extract features, requirements, and components to create the PRD.
