Article summary

The Crowdbotics platform provides easy access and integration between your app and your Jira project.

To use Jira features, you must connect your Jira (Atlassian) account with your Crowdbotics account. If you don’t connect the accounts before attempting to use a feature, the platform initiates the connection for you. For more information, refer to Connecting your Atlassian account.

  • The Jira Issues tab helps you manage your project by pulling in a list of Jira issues from a specific project based on a JQL query.

  • While Fine-tuning your PRD, you have the following options:

    • For a single feature, you can:

      • Link a feature to an existing issue in your Jira project.  Click the Link option and enter an existing Jira issue key and click Save.

      • Create a new Jira issue based on the feature.  Click the Create option. Select the Project in which you want to create the issues and select the Issue Type.

  • For multiple features, you can create multiple Jira tickets.

    1. Select multiple features.

    2. In the toolbar, click + # Jira Tickets.

    3. In the Create Issues pop-up:

      1. Select the Project in which you want to create the issues.

      2. Select the Issue Type for the issues.

      3. Note: All the issues must be in the same project and of the same type.

    4. Click Create Issues.
