Article summary

When you begin working on your PRD using PRD-AI, there are things you can do to get the best outcome.

PRD Prompt

Remember

The Description and Context are not just for the initial creation of your PRD. They are also used by PRD-AI as you refine your PRD, such as when you use the Suggest Features with AI option.

Description

When providing the Description prompt, you need to provide enough detail for PRD-AI to analyze and interpret your request and begin generating the correct requirements. If you’re just testing PRD-AI or you want to create something fairly basic, you can enter a few simple sentences and view the results.

However, if you want to generate a fuller, more robust PRD, you need to provide more details. PRD-AI functions best when you ensure alignment with the needs of tech teams who will be using the resulting PRD.

When possible, provide a prompt that explains the who will be using the resulting application, why they’re using it, how they will interact with it, and so forth.  The more details, the more accurate and comprehensive your PRD will be.

Context Settings

Important

The visibility and availability of some functionality depends on your account type. For more information about account types, contact our Support team.

Context provides relevant details about your business and your preferred technologies to help PRD-AI customize your PRD to your organization’s development environment.

Context Settings are how you provide that context data within the Crowdbotics platform.

For details and examples of what type of information to include in these fields, refer to Context Settings Examples.
